Katie started her career in the insurance industry as an Account Manager at Marsh USA in 2005. She spent the next twelve years in a variety of roles in Account Management, Operations, and Quality Management at both Marsh USA and Willis Towers Watson. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford in Organizational Leadership, the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Katie joined Smith Brothers in 2017 as Small Commercial Lines Manager. In 2021, she transitioned into our Quality Initiatives Leader role to execute on multiple process improvement and productivity projects across the agency. Katie recently took on the position of Team Member Development Director and is working to execute on multiple initiatives within our Great Place to Work strategy, including culture, engagement, and learning & development.

As a wife, mom of two kids, and a fitness enthusiast, Katie likes to stay active by coaching and playing sports with her kids, strength training, and taking walks with her dog.
