Don leads the Employee Benefit Group for Smith Brothers Insurance where he is responsible to deliver comprehensive client strategies and the resources necessary to fulfill those strategies. As a Licensed Insurance Consultant, Don brings over 30-years of experience in the fields of underwriting and plan administration. His focus in on client strategy and service, financial underwriting, compliance, and overall program performance. He works directly with local, national and international employers, taking a hands on approach to client needs, which is the backbone of Smith Brothers Insurance ongoing service model.

Don graduated cum laude with a BBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, graduated cum laude with an MBA from Western New England University, studied international business and finance at Oxford University, is a Six-Sigma Greenbelt and is a Licensed Insurance Agent (LIA) and a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). Don is a life-long resident of Easthampton, MA, where he lives with his wife and three children. He is an active community member, sits on area non-profit boards and stays active playing tennis, running road races, and practicing yoga.
